Enter the world of the Food Bank

ROTTERDAM, DELFSHAVEN

Take a look behind the scenes and see and experience what the volunteers weekly do. In the Netherlands, currently 10,500 volunteers are actively providing more than 35,000 households each week with a food package. Rotterdam has its own Food Bank and Distribution Center. The Distribution Center is responsible for the delivery of food products both within Rotterdam and for the local food banks in the region. About 200 volunteers,ensure that around 2000 families in Rotterdam are provided with a food package. Without sponsorship, the Food Bank can not exist. Sponsorship may take the form of a financial contribution for operating costs or in the form of long-lasting food products such as rice and pasta.
